Robert T. Boudreau, Esq.

President and Shareholder

Bob has been practicing law for 46 years and specializes in the field of elder law.  He has lectured for years throughout Maine on the nuances between Wills and Trusts and the critical importance of Durable Powers of Attorney in providing ample flexibility when nursing home issues become present.  He is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of New England as well as the University of Massachusetts.  His financial background served him well as a Senior Vice President and Treasurer of a Massachusetts Bank.   He represents several elderly family members seeking to maximize their ability to transfer their wealth to loved ones.

Christopher J. Ryer, Esq.

Chris has practiced for over 40 years in the areas of real estate, business, probate, estate planning and contract law. He is a title insurance agent and is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Maine State Bar Association. He participates in and conducts closings involving real estate, businesses and mobile homes.

Chris engages in estate planning and in administration of estates. He also assists clients in using devises such as trusts and transfer-on-death deeds in order to avoid probate altogether. In this manner, clients can dispose of their assets at death with a minimum of time and expense.

Chris and his wife moved to Maine in 1982, and he has been active in his community and with its Lions Club. He spends his free time playing golf, hiking, and travelling.

Charles E. Trainor, Esq.

President and Shareholder

Chuck has practiced law for over 40 years, primarily in the areas of worker compensation, personal injury and social security disability law. He is a member of the Workers Compensation Section of the Maine Bar Association. He has been a speaker at workers compensation law seminars.

Chuck was born in Waterville and grew up in Cumberland, ME. He and his wife reside in Portland, where they have lived for over 30 years. He is active in his church. When not working he is kept very busy by his three grandsons and a granddaughter.

Cassandra L. Morin, Esq.

Cassandra specializes in estate planning with a focus on ensuring the care of pets and animal dependents. Recognizing that pets are family, she emphasizes planning for their future to prevent them from ending up in shelters. With years of experience in estate planning and probate—both as a paralegal and attorney—she simplifies the probate process and creates comprehensive plans that account for life’s uncertainties.

Her practice includes estate planning, trusts, probate administration, real estate transactions, and select animal law cases such as veterinary malpractice, custody disputes, and wildlife issues.

Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys video games, volunteering at animal shelters, writing, practicing Japanese, swimming, and birdwatching. She lives in Bowdoinham with her husband and pets.

Stephen A. Harlan, Esq.

Stephen is an associate attorney in our business, litigation, and real estate practice. He is a native of Texas and enlisted in the United States Navy after high school. He departed as a Chief Petty Officer after twenty-two years of active service. He earned his undergraduate degree in History, magna cum laude, from Columbia College of Missouri and his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law. Outside of work, Stephen spends time with family, volunteers with his local Lions Club, and loves hitting the hiking trails with friends and family or reading books on American history.
